It is with a heavy hearts we all offer our deepest condolences to Kathy's family and many friends. I am an ordinary guy who had an extraordinary opportunity to play here. We know she knew all about us before we got a chance to meet her.
I will always be impressed by her unconditional care, gratitude and love she displayed. Enthusiam and encyclopedic knowledge of the game rivaled that of any fan.
She was not just a person who provided tickets when I started my annual pilgrimage in 1997. She was the first person I greeted when I arrived at Sunken Diamond.
In fact, I had the distinct pleasure of watching us play four games during my vacation this spring-the Cal series and the following Monday against Santa Clara.
I had to choose between going to watch the Giants or watching us. It was a no brainer as she was kind enough to give me a Diamond Club Pass. It is still in my possession and of course will remain with me for posterity.
Kathy, we know you have gone to the mansion God prepared. We love you, thank you and will miss you.
